Conducted an internal review of the institution’s internal culture and working methods that included individual meetings with each staff member, full group sessions focused on opportunities, goals, and organizational challenges, and team building activities. Undertook an ongoing contextual analysis of Mobile County and its surrounding region by meeting and developing relationships with key stakeholders in local government, the arts and non-profit sector, and leaders in the business and education communities. Led the museum’s team in the deployment of seasonal planning, which brings together a cross-functional group consisting of members of every museum department to brainstorm and implement exhibitions, programs, and branding initiatives while tracking their outcomes in real time. This discipline of collaboration helped grow museum admissions to 14,603 (up from 8,269 in FY 21-22), while increasing shop sales by 99%, education revenue by 44%, and active donors by 27.33% Collaborated with the museum’s Board to re-establish its Committee structure and implement a meeting schedule that aligns working sessions with key deadlines and dates in its annual calendar of operations. Drafted a 2 year strategic plan that includes a new mission, vision, value proposition, and core values platform, as well as a four section operational roadmap to continue the growth of Key Performance Indicators while strengthening the institutional culture at all levels of the organization. Led planning and implementation of the museum’s highly successful 60th Anniversary Celebration, which included the development and installation of “1960s Hard Edge and Op Art: Tribute to The Responsive Eye,” the 60th Birthday Bash, and capital improvements to the museum’s exterior façade.
