Exchange Ave is an economy fueled by social exchange. Our mobile app works by creating hyperlocal barter and trade marketplaces that connects communities through shared abundance — inspired by the Ahupua’a system. Core features of our platform allows members to log in, choose their location, and explore a market of items in their area. If you see an item you like, you can contact the owner to make an exchange.Through the exchange of goods, services, knowledge, and skills, we’re able to increase connectivity and self-reliance within neighborhoods, while lessening imported goods or underutilized resources.Exchange Engine is our private-label platform that empowers communities with the core social networking, inventory management, and exchange market functions, with fully customized, tailored experience for your members. We currently manage 4 private exchange platforms from Hawaii to New Mexico, serving over members from Indigenous communities.EA’s mission is to educate, inspire, and reclaim our ancestral values, with Hawai’i as a model for an economy built on shared resources and Aloha.
