   Project Manager over seeing various project ranging from civil to complete school modernization projects. Current projects are HVAC, Plumbing. LAN - WAN, Security, upgrades that will conserve energy and save the district money over the lifespan of each facility. CCSD currently operates over 315 schools/buildings with an enrollment of + students, being the 5th largest schools district in the US.Past projects have been utilization of modular buildings for schools and support staff. Over saw the conversion of 20 high school tracks from cinder to all-weather rubberized systems, have contracted out numerous outdoor basketball and tennis courts with acrylic surfacing. Familiar with US Tennis & Track Builder Standards.Handle all of the districts outside theater curtain replacements and theater upgrades including lighting dimmer, sound, and DX systems. Have developed new standards for CCSD theater requirements and safety training.Various athletic field improvements including turf, lighting, seating, and related utilities to support.Was the districts first \"Warranty Specialist\" dealing with contractors to respond to items covered by their warranties and guarantees required under contract. Was the the first responder to determine if the item was normal maintenace issue or the contractors responsibility. Developed the standards and forms used to document warranty items. Acted as a liaison between our maintenace staff and various trades.Served as a code inspector for my first 18 months of employment with CCSD starting February, 1990.John R.
