About John Banks

Mr. Banks has over 38 years of engineering experience in Florida, the southeast US, and DOD installations overseas. His experience includes management of municipal government operations, CIP Program Management, management of engineering consulting practice groups, and business development for design build and ESPC contractor. Mr. Banks has managed multi-disciplined engineering teams to develop large scale municipal facilities. He has also managed the construction contract administration for these projects. His technical expertise includes utility engineering, landfill design and operations, wastewater collection and treatment system design, water distribution system design, storm water management and general civil site design. Mr. Banks has been responsible for implementation of several technical innovations in the design of waste management facilities. These innovations include the first use of new products or use of existing products or technology in new applications. Mr. Banks has presented at numerous technical conferences, served on PhD student advisory panels, and served on committees for development of new environmental regulations in Florida. He also developed and taught continuing education courses for facility operators.
