Hi, I’m John, and my contacts often say I’m a great \'connector of people\'.I’ll take that as I’m always keen to see how my relationships and experience might help others, especially when that leads to reciprocity, partnerships and friendships.In late October 2025 I became Regional Director at The CFO Centre where we help SME’s get from where they are now to where they want to be. We do this by building a collaborative relationship, understanding the desire and any hurdles or blocks and then providing the services of a sector experienced CFO on flexible, fractional terms. We can help you with cashflow planning, strategic decision making, reporting / systems, exit planning etc. But what we really do is sit alongside owners, founders and leadership teams and help take a whole load of worries off them. The move to my current role brought together my early career direct client contact with my more recent business development and networking skills. In my spare time I’m honoured to be a voluntary Vice President for Forever Manchester (The Community Foundation for Greater Manchester) which is a wonderful charity helping to build happy, thriving, resilient communities across the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester. In summer 2025 I was also invited to become a trustee for 53two, Manchester’s best independent theatre and arts venue. Let me know if you fancy a coffee and quick tour round?
