As a Senior IT Executive, I’m committed to enhancing productivity and improving security of today’s IT function by harnessing the benefits of technology. Throughout the course of my career, I’ve achieved this by building and leading high-performance technology organizations in startups and companies challenged by reorganizations and periods of dramatic change. Management, peers, and reports will tell you that I’m an expert in developing and providing Information Security that protects IT Infrastructure, and data comprising the company’s information assets and intellectual property. Improving Information Security: Created Standards and procedures for security department of a leading, multi-line insurance company. Processed over 300 security events with less than 1 error rate. Effective Leadership when Managing Crisis, Transformed an IT environment with a failing infrastructure, total lack of documentation and numerous manual applications in need of automation into a high-performance IT function. Developing IT to Meet Evolving Business Needs: Developed a Resort and Casino’s IT Department from the ground up. Recruited, hired, trained and developed a staff of 70 professionals while providing leadership and direction to the organization for more than 13 years. Designed the infrastructure for both hotel/casino and remote offices. Created and maintained an IT budget that was never over budget. Architected and launched the hotel and casino’s first formal security department.
