ABOUT JOHAN VAN DER MERWE

I am an experienced journalist with demonstrated history of strategic editorial and commercial content creation and management - a pathfinder within an organization. My “WHY” is anchored in community and regenerating healthy potential. I have more than ten years\' experience in creating engaging, informative and actioning journalistic content for print, digital and online media in all formats - text, photography, webinar and video. I have experience in strategic regenerative agriculture B2B campaigns, content development and management. I focused on developing new storytelling directions in consultation with subject matter experts in the organization I represented as a journalist. I engaged cross-functionally to achieve long-term success in community engagement, product R&D and revenue growth. Currently I am focused on increasing the efficiency and profitability of the inventory relay process between production and sales teams. Streamlining and integrating the QC-principles into the production process and timeously informing the sales team of inventory status is a great opportunity to add value. I am the eternal optimism and constantly looking for reasons to be excited for tomorrow.
