ABOUT JOE CURRY

Experienced leader with a successful history of working in the medical device industry. Participated on several boards and roles at Medtronic and most recently helped get the National DBS Field Sales Trainer Program and positions off the ground. Through collaboration with other Medtronic Business Units, we gathered resources and provided aggressive contracting for our accounts while securing premium product positioning. Being solution-oriented and customer-centric, the Virginia team is well-known for unrivaled responsiveness to our customer\'s needs. I have been blessed by being mentored by great leaders and am thankful for those relationships. I see firsthand the value a strong mentor has had on my career. Because of them, I now look for opportunities to professionally and personally mentor others. According to my DiSC profile, I am a strong Influencer and lean towards dominance. Everyone who knows me would agree that I am outgoing, enthusiastic, optimistic, high-spirited, and lively. I tilt towards dominance with my results-oriented, direct, competitive spirit. During times of conflict (not that I have a lot in my life or at work), I am a strong collaborator, wanting to solve problems with quality decisions that truly resolve issues. In matters of less significance but still moderately important, I see the benefit of compromising when you cannot agree. According to the TKI assessment, those are my top attributes. While at Medtronic, I have won National Rookie of the Year Honors, recipient of the Star Achievers Award, Peak Performance Award Winner (2019, 2020, 2021), and President\'s Club Award Winner. Finally, I have been thoroughly enjoying working on my MBA. I am taking the principles I am learning on Monday and applying them in my role by Tuesday.
