About Joan Elizabeth Gee

Joan serves as Managing Partner of the firm’s Healthcare Services & Solutions practice where she brings more than twenty-five years of healthcare executive search and consulting experience to her clients. Known for her partnership approach, Joan’s executive search career is a testament to long-term relationships with clients who repeatedly look to her. Focused in healthcare she brings human capital solutions to the complex needs surrounding her clients, resulting in a diverse portfolio of candidates for healthcare systems, physician group practices, private equity-based firms and long-term organizations across the nation. Prior to joining DHR, Joan served as Partner for two different firms providing executive level, retained search primarily, but not exclusively, in the healthcare field. Also, early in her career Joan worked at KPMG and Accenture. At KPMG, she conducted financial feasibility studies for healthcare providers. She also led the internal recruitment of executives into KPMG’s national healthcare practice. At Accenture, Joan was responsible for partner hiring across many industries.Joan has spent her career and adult life in the Atlanta area where she is active in the Care ministry of her church and is a member of the board of directors at No Longer Bound, a ministry centered around helping men gain freedom from their addiction. She earned a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree with a concentration in Management from University of Central Florida.
