As a Data Analyst in Self Insured Reporting, I require the ability to learn their reporting software while working with Medical and Pharmaceutical data from TPA’s, PBMs, Benefits Brokers, and more. I also analyze large sets of data with Microsoft Excel and other data tools, utilize common formulas used to manipulate data, solve and troubleshoot tickets, and be familiar with medical enrollment and claims data. Other responsibilities include managing Medical codes and their description within their Reporting software, keeping them organized and up to date on an ongoing basis, set up data based protocols, competently work with data integrity/remain HIPAA compliant at all times, and understand and perform within the data integration and how they use the data they have.
