ABOUT JILL CERVANTES

I am currently an HSE Specialist at Maverick Natural Resources in Houston, TX, where I manage a range of critical responsibilities. These include overseeing contractor management, incident management, and training qualification programs, as well as leveraging data analytics to identify emerging trends and drive improvements in company performance.Recently, my role has expanded to lead the Total Safety Culture initiative, a company-wide program aimed at embedding safety as a core value within our organizational culture. This initiative goes beyond compliance, fostering a mindset that prioritizes safety in every aspect of our daily operations.Additionally, I support our Arkansas and Louisiana field assets by conducting monthly in-person safety meetings, engaging with contractors, and implementing newly released procedures and guidelines to ensure a consistent and proactive approach to safety across all levels.With over 15 years of experience in Customer Service and Relations, I began my career in retail in San Antonio, TX, before transitioning to roles in hospitality.During my time at Texas Tech University, I played a key role in recruiting prospective students and football players for the university and its athletics department while earning dual bachelor\'s degrees in Advertising and Business Marketing.I am known for my commitment, self-drive, and reliability, and in my free time, I enjoy traveling and exploring new destinations.
