Started as a System Engineer at this employer, grown into Project Management over time and currently coordinating all IT Infrastructure-related business while keeping my hands dirty being technically involved with all of the infrastructure.\\\\n\\\\n- Achievements in 2021 -\\\\n\\\\n- Set up a new environment in Azure, complete with MPLS, IPSEC VPN and Vnet peering through a cluster of firewalls in a hub and spoke configuration.\\\\n\\\\n- Redesigned and executed our connectivity landscape between our office locations to increase stability, performance and security while reducing cost.\\\\n\\\\n- Implemented MFA, Conditional Access and other security policies to our environment. Updated our Microsoft licenses to be fully able to implement these security features.\\\\n\\\\n- Migrated around 40 server instances to Azure while upgrading them to the best possible OS for these purposes.\\\\n\\\\n- Optimized our environment to optimize performance and reliability.\\\\n\\\\n- Migrated over 400 users to Microsoft Teams, of which 250 in several locations use Teams Voice with a dedicated ISP supplied SBC.\\\\n\\\\n- Worked as a member of the Security Committee on business continuity plans.\\\\n\\\\n- Achievements in 2020 -\\\\n\\\\n- Made the Brussels Motors Show work for our brands alongside of IT colleagues.\\\\n\\\\n- Acted as PM in the project of replacing all network infrastructure (Fortigates, Ruckus ICX switching, on premise fiber and wireless links) in Belgium and abroad, including hands-on technical work with colleagues and coordinating with amazing third parties.\\\\n\\\\n- Took on SCCM and replaced the SCCM infrastructure and also made it available off premise as a project.\\\\n\\\\n- Migrated users and servers to the newest version of our antivirus software and made it available off premise, also as a project.\\\\n\\\\n- Worked hard to increase security and high availability on every level.\\\\n\\\\n- Got to know my colleagues in and outside IT, they\'re all great!\\\\n\\\\n- Learned new people skills and working in a Team.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
