About Jeremy Warner

I\'m a visual storyteller with over ten years of working in the film and television industry. In addition to my professional work, I have over ten years of teaching and mentoring students to reach their maximum potential. Growing up in Indiana, I always participated in anything that had a good story. At Indiana University, I crafted my storytelling in theatre, fine art, and film. I continued my education at Temple University, where I started researching nonlinear storytelling techniques and online media distribution. After finishing my MFA, I taught film, video and theatre production. In 2008, I moved move to Los Angeles, pursing work in the film industry. I started working as an Editor with George Hickenlooper, with whom I developed a great working relationship. I assisted George Hickenlooper in development for several of his ideas. After his unexpected death in 2010, I have continued editing and developing ideas for productions, while teaching part-time at California State University. I love staying on the edge of technology. I have developed a diverse set of skills which allow me to understand multiple facets of productions for most mediums. By combining these skills, I can come up with non-traditional and immersive ways of storytelling. I have continued working with acting and technical aspects of each medium, because it is through this combination that one can reach maximum emotional responses. I still teach, because I love it. Teaching keeps me updated on industry trends and cutting edge ideas. I am well-versed in a variety of software packages. My strong skills are in development, scheduling, managing, coordinating, story structure, directing actors, and editing visual images for film and video. I have a BA from Indiana University and a MFA from Temple University. I\'m always interested in discussing new projects, so feel free to contact me if you would like to connect.
