Serve as the organizational Financial Reporting Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of statutory reporting requirements. • Provide US GAAP interpretation and prepare technical memorandums that document requirements clearly, logically, and comprehensively. • Understand and Identify these needs with the various roles in the software development lifecycle. • Develop product requirements around the municipal and corporate markets’ financial reporting needs/ requirements and oversee all technical accounting research related to existing and future proposed accounting standards, ensuring timely identification and implementation into firm solution(s). • Oversee researching and translating market needs/ requirements for the product development plan. Act as the liaison between the market financial reporting needs/ requirements and the technology organization in the design/ execution of the software development lifecycle. • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop messaging and content related to the firm’s solution(s), including attending and presenting at various trade shows and industry events. • Design and build the firm’s internal educational program(s) around accounting and finance operations.
