In May 2012 a group of three financial services industry professionals started FPIA with a dream of building a best of breed executive search firm for the financial services industry. When we started the business, we had not worked a single day in executive search, but we brought almost 80 years of combined experience working in financial services on both the buy and the sell side.Over the past decade, we have grown FPIA into the leading executive search boutique firm in the industry focused on investment industry talent, and have conducted searches for almost 100 different firms in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle EastAs we approach our 10th anniversary, we are about to embark on the biggest change in the history of our firm. On March 1st, 2022 we will join Boyden, a premier talent advisory and leadership solutions firm, becoming their flagship financial services arm in the United States.Founded by Sidney Boyden in 1946, and now with more than 75 offices in over 45 countries worldwide, Boyden delivers executive search, interim management and leadership consulting services based on a high level of personal commitment and a client-focused approach.By joining Boyden, we will be able to deliver a “global boutique” approach to our clients by increasing our global reach and allowing us to successfully complete mandates anywhere in the world.We will add breadth and additional capabilities while continuing to offer a service in which every assignment is run by at least one of FPIA’s founding partners.We are very excited by this corporate move which keeps FPIA’s ownership and independence in the partners’ hands while helping us do an even better job for our key constituents – our clients.
