ABOUT JEREMIAH GERMANY-CASEY
I am a compassionate and creative psychology student at the University of Tampa, building a strong academic and professional foundation through diverse and meaningful experiences. A proud graduate of Savanna High School, I developed discipline, teamwork, and confidence as a member of the Mighty Marching Rebel Band and Color Guard, where I played the trombone.• As a veteran of the United States Army, I carry forward a deep sense of dedication, leadership, and resilience in everything I pursue. My professional journey also includes time with the Walt Disney Company, where my creativity and passion for connection were strengthened and these qualities now shape my work in psychology and my future career goals.• Within the UTampa Psychology Department, I serve as a Research Assistant, gaining hands-on experience in psychological research, collaborating with faculty, and contributing to meaningful academic projects related to positive psychology. I am also actively seeking to broaden my research experience across additional areas of psychology, continuing to build a well-rounded foundation in psychological science. This role has further deepened my interest in understanding human behavior and helping others through evidence-based practice.• Driven by empathy, kindness, and a commitment to service, I remain actively engaged in volunteer work with multiple nonprofit organizations. Whether in the classroom, in research, in my community, or in leadership roles, I strive to uplift others, create meaningful impact, and use my experiences to serve diverse communities with compassion and purpose.
