ABOUT JENNIFER HUNT

I am a data-driven and results-oriented operations leader with expertise in actuary science, risk adjustment, underwriting, analytics, and product development for the health and benefits/insurance industry. I am highly regarded as a big-picture strategist who leverages problem-solving, critical thinking, and dynamic leadership skills to effectively handle numerous cross-functional roles and consistently go above and beyond the scope of responsibilities to provide strategic, financial, and operational oversight aligned with growth and profitability goals.In my current role as AVP Actuarial Services/Operations AVP for Medical Mutual, I lead 10 financial services teams to oversee diverse functions including underwriting, actuarial, business analytics, reinsurance, risk adjustment, and commercial product development, while implementing solutions to increase efficiency, improve accuracy, and drive continuous improvement of key business processes. I take pride in being a hands-on leader, empowering coach, and mentor who cultivates an environment of collaboration, support, open communication, and mutual respect to unite cross-functional teams to work together toward common goals and objectives. This has resulted in achieving an 87% retention rate among direct reports in the last two years. I am also the current Chair of the Commercial Product Steering Committee and newly appointed Chair of the Service Excellence Council which focuses on member and customer experience for all products.
