This cross-functional position is focused on uncovering actionable and relevant sustainability insights that drive decision making, and serving as a spokesperson for HelloFresh\'s sustainability platform both internally and externally. Acting as a champion for our sustainability efforts, I spearhead the execution of HelloFresh\'s long-term sustainability vision, mission, and strategic sustainability plan. The HelloFresh NA sustainability program includes regulatory compliance and permitting, operational and supply chain sustainability, packaging lifecycle management, social impact, and supporting the marketing and communications teams to engage our customers in our programs!

My professional mission is the integration of environmental and social stewardship into business - literally,\"fusing sustainability with business\" by focusing on risk and opportunity management.My expertise is rooted in sustainability program development and Life Cycle thinking, with foundations in traditional EHS. So, along with experience in permitting, compliance, and waste/wastewater management, I have deep expertise in management systems approaches, ESG policy, Social Impact programming, product LCA and organizational \"footprinting\", environmental claim and CSR report development, sustainability metrics and enterprise sustainability software. I have done this as both a consultant and an in-house SME, from a \"team of one\" to managing local and remote teams.My professional philosophy is that organizational \"sustainability\" must be defined in the context of a specific operating environment and value chain, and that sustainability considerations MUST integrate effectively into operating environments with multiple priorities (environment, community, profitability, etc.). I also enjoy mentoring staff and growing the capacity of teams I engage in, working with students to integrate these goals into their own careers, and participating in like-minded nonprofit organizations.
