Passionate about leveraging technology to create impactful solutions, I am a Senior Director in Product Management at KEV Group, leading product strategy for various products in our K12 Financial Portfolio. With a keen eye for market trends and a commitment to user-centric design, I drive the vision and execution of our product portfolio, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs. Previously, as Director of Product Management at D2L, I led a large team of skilled product managers who were responsible for our core platform, media offerings, and extensibility layer. With over 18 years of experience in SaaS EdTech, I participated in many transformative projects at D2L and with our clients. My strengths in creating compelling business cases, and motivating teams to collaborate on hard problems has allowed me to leave my fingerprints on a great company and Platform. One of my proudest achievements is spearheading the vision, roadmap, and launch of Creator+, a new platform and package for D2L that enables educators and learners to create engaging and interactive content. I successfully built cross-functional support, executive buy-in, and client feedback for this major product initiative, using product-led growth methodology and agile practices. Creator+ has become our biggest product launch in several years and a strategic investment for D2L. I am also a strong communicator in other mediums - including writing multiple articles on industry trends, and writing and presenting our product showcase at the annual D2L User Conference multiple years in a row.
