As a Business and Functional Analyst, my role is central in ensuring smooth communication between business stakeholders and the technical team, as well as supporting project execution from design to validation. I actively participate in business workshops, facilitating discussions and contributing to the requirements gathering. This phase is crucial as it allows for a deep understanding of customer needs, which I analyze to ensure alignment with project objectives. To plan resource allocation effectively, I provide workload estimates and precise cost assessments, helping to optimize the overall project timeline and budget. One of my key responsibilities is designing and formalizing interface contracts, which ensures smooth integration between different systems, enabling efficient data exchanges and optimal interoperability. I work closely with the development team, providing both technical and functional support throughout the development phase. My involvement includes ongoing assistance, clarifying requirements, and resolving any issues that may arise. Testing is another essential aspect of my role. I write and structure detailed test cases covering all functionalities to ensure that the developed solution meets the required specifications. I conduct functional and regression tests to identify potential issues early, ensuring the robustness and reliability of the final solution. If any anomalies are detected, particularly during the acceptance phase, I carry out in-depth analyses—often through log analysis—to identify root causes and suggest solutions. Regular activity reporting is part of my workflow, providing stakeholders with clear visibility on project progress. This transparency is essential to keep the project aligned with expectations and timelines. Additionally, I play a significant role in validating the solution with end-users, ensuring it meets their expectations before going live.
