About Josh Curtis

I am currently the Sr. Coordinator, Service Programs for the Memphis Grizzlies. In my role, I lead our team’s volunteer efforts and assist in outreach initiatives throughout the Memphis community. In my previous role as the Sr. Marketing Coordinator for the Memphis Showboats, I developed our marketing events and campaigns in the community that helped raise awareness for the Showboats and grow the fanbase. I worked with the United Football League (UFL) to implement campaigns and strategies in Memphis that are consistent across all other markets in the league. As the Community Outreach and Business Development Manager with Memphis 901FC, I oversaw our community engagement and outreach events in the Memphis-Shelby County area. I managed our volunteer and nonprofit activations and assisted in growing our team\'s brand throughout the Mid-South. During my time as a Group Sales Specialist for the Houston Texans, I was responsible for prospecting and selling new groups and season tickets memberships to clients in the Houston market. I also developed unique group themes to attract new fans to games, including the first ever Texans Autism Acceptance Day. In this position I gained experience using Archtics, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and G-suite.I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health, a major in Sport Management and a double minor in Business and Sports Media. After graduation and before my current position, I gained experience in sales working for the Allen Americans Professional Hockey Club. I am extremely passionate about sports, community engagement, sales, and marketing, and plan to continue learning new skills and furthering my experience in the sports world.
