As the statewide coordinator for USDA’s outreach and public affairs efforts in Georgia, I oversee more than annual events connecting 350+ staff with stakeholders, elected officials, and the public. I develop executive-level briefing materials, memos, and remarks for visits by the President, Cabinet members, and senior federal leaders.I manage media relations, writing and distributing over 150 press releases and newsletters reaching people. I also lead a high-performing team and serve as a congressional liaison, addressing constituent concerns related to USDA policy.
