In 2019, I was coming off five years in combat sports and didn’t know how to write a line of code. By 2020, I was waking up at 3 AM to study before work because that was the only time I had. I’ve had to earn things twice that others earn once, and I kept building anyway.A FinTech bootcamp gave me confidence. Robotics taught me how systems actually behave. Healthcare showed me that data, when used well, can change lives. Each role taught me how to step into problems I didn’t fully understand and figure things out as I went.That persistence led me here. I’m a Founding Engineer at Connectivia Labs, where I’ve built the OmniVerse platform from the ground up—a unified IoT, AI, and edge computing system with autonomous agents, real-time computer vision, and predictive maintenance capabilities. It’s now supporting enterprise customers across agriculture, manufacturing, and logistics. I built the platform end to end.I’ve brought the same mindset into youth prevention work. At Club Stride, I designed the data systems behind programs that served +500 young people, achieved a 97% completion rate, and exceeded 6 of 7 state outcome targets. I built the NLP analysis, evaluation protocols, and longitudinal tracking that turned program activity into impact partners wanted to expand.The throughline for me isn’t the tech stack or the metrics. It’s discipline, adaptability, and learning how to stay calm inside hard problems—lessons that started long before I ever touched a keyboard. Being self-taught doesn’t mean doing things alone; it means learning fast, staying curious, and improving every time.Fluent in Python, FastAPI, React, MongoDB, YOLO, and edge computing. Also fluent in Spanish, grant compliance, and showing up when it’s hard.Still building. Always will be.
