ABOUT JAVIER ARROYO CABELLO
I obtained my degree in Computer Science at the University of Granada in 2014, where I learnt a wide variety of information techniques and technologies. My mayor interests are web system, which let the users visualize huge amount of data and analyze them in a easy and fast way; and embedded systems for automatic control, computer vision and sensor networks.During my degree, I worked at an internship company as a programmer, where I used some well known web technologies such as: Javascript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS and MongoDB; all working together to make a business intelligence application for retailer sales. After finishing my internship, I did my degree final project, which was about an e-health application based on Android, Arduino and biomedical sensors. Biomedical signals, such as the electrocardiogram (ECG), were collected by Arduino and the sensors (attached to the chest of the patient in case of the ECG), and sent to Android device, which would analyze and show the data using beautiful and useful graphs.Then, I began to work in Bi4Group, a company based in Granada and the Netherlands, where I am participating in the development of Trade Promotion Master (TPM, http://visualfabriq.com/products/trade-promotion-master/). I use web technologies such as: Javascript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, NodeJS and Gulp (minimify code), NodeJS and Selenium (automatic testing) and Bootstrap (responsive design) to build the front-end side; In the back-end side we use python, with libraries such as flask for building the server, pandas and bcolz for analizying and fastly querying data; MongoDB as database manager; and Amazon AWS as infrastructure provider. The tool let the users plan, track, optimize and evaluate the entire promotion process.
