ABOUT JANIS GRIFFIN

Given my years of database experience (35+), my professional goal is to assist other DBAs and Developers to become successful (or to \'shine\') in their work assignments. I can offer a wide range of database design techniques, tuning assistance, and personal/system performance reporting advice. Along those lines, not only do I hope to make the IT professional more successful in his/her position, but ultimately, their end customers will benefit from that \'result\' as well. Specialties: Oracle ACE who has over 35+ years experience in Oracle Database Administration and Development. Additional experience as DBA for DB2, Sybase, Informix, Progress, PostgreSQL, MySql and Sql Server databases. In addition, 8 years experience as a System administrator for Linux / Windows / Unix operating systems. Also, I\'ve have over 10 years of managing/mentoring other DBAs. Currently, I\'m working as a technical resource for Quest Software.
