ABOUT JAN HESTHAVEN

Director with responsibility for SAP for the Public Sector in the Nordic at Deloitte Consulting. Facilitating the SAP strategy for the public sector in the Nordic, including the transitions to SAP S/4HANA and all the other new SAP offerings for Public Sector.Working with business development and IT for more than 40 years and has during this period been involved in analysing and finding optimal solutions to most of the processes and tasks for the customers particular in the public sector. Jan was, back in 1997, part of the decision to choose SAP as future Municipality (Public Sector) strategy platform in the IT company Kommunedata (now KMD) owned by the Danish municipalities and has been working with SAP since 1997. Back in 2002, Jan was the architect and initiator behind KMD\'s decision to develop a standard Add-On for SAP to support Danish Payroll in SAP and thus the launch of KMD Nettoløn (SAP Net Payroll) for Denmark.Jan has for the last 15-20 years has special focus on building up the partnership with SAP. From 2014 responsible for building up an SAP HANA of Expertise function with close support from SAP. For the last 5-6 years Jan in partnership with SAP have been working with how SAP customers most efficiently and optimally can make the decision and make the switch/migrate to SAP S/4HANA Cloud (RISE / GROW with SAP) or On-Prem.
