I’m a technology leader at trivago, guiding the Content, Search & Data Engineering organization and reporting to the CTO, where I turn strategy into scalable platform outcomes across search, data, ML, and engineering. Much of my focus has been on organizational design that enables focus and speed—consolidating data workflows, aligning teams around domain ownership, and increasing velocity while strengthening engagement and accountability. On the product and platform side, I have driven pragmatic partner evaluation to de‑risk spend, and broad AI tooling adoption to assess throughput and quality opportunities across backend software engineering. Through my Data Engineering teams, I lead cloud and ML platform modernization. We have migrated 100s of complex data workflows to Google Cloud Platform, running disciplined cost/performance programs, and are delivering an on‑prem ML platform on proprietary GPUs to accelerate experimentation and impact at low cost. I restructured hiring and talent systems to compress cycle time, raise the quality bar, and improve candidate and team fit—building durable leadership benches and healthy delivery cultures.
