Jim Parks is a senior vice president of Rust Consulting and the leader of Rust’s Financial Services practice area. A management, operations and technical professional, he cultivates strong business relationships and provides consultative services on large-scale financial industry projects with some of Rust’s most notable financial institution clients.Since joining Rust in 2005, Parks has overseen remediation programs as well as projects in the consumer finance, consumer, insurance, product liability, business sector, and government services practice areas. He has extensive experience working with large financial institutions on complex matters.Parks has over 35 years of national CPA and business services experience. Prior to joining Rust, he spent 18 years with RSM McGladrey Retirement Resources, Inc, a division of RSM McGladrey as a tax partner and vice president of operations. Specializing in employee benefit plans, he was responsible for day-to-day operations in eight locations and led approximately 225 employees. In this role, Parks worked with large companies to design and implement retirement benefit plans as well as to provide record keeping and all reporting administration services to participants and governmental agencies.
