ABOUT JAMES FURR
Mr. Furr is a Licensed PG and an accredited PMP with 40 years of experience in corporate leadership, project management, information management and data analytics, operations, geological and hydrogeological site investigations, site remediation and closures for the DoD, DOE, and private clients. From 2014 to 2024 he served in several corporate leadership roles at North Wind including President of three subsidiary companies and Chief information Officer. During this time he was responsible for more than 800 employees and budgets of more $100M annually. In 2025 he assumed the role of Director of Technical Services and Strategy for the Environmental Business Line portfolio of companies. In this role he is serving as the Groundwater Remediation Subject Matter Expert supporting Project Managers and technical staff with direction and mentoring associated with RCRA and CERCLA Remedial Investigations/Feasibility Studies, groundwater modeling, geophysics, data analytics, and stakeholder engagement.
