About Jalen Patel
As a recipient of the prestigious Google and Disney college scholarships, I am passionate about business and technology because I enjoy solving challenging problems and thinking creatively. Ever since I was young, I\'ve been dedicated to growing my entrepreneurial skills and building innovative projects. This led me to develop two non-profit organizations, one dedicated to teaching and supporting future computer scientists, and the other using technology to tackle health inequity issues for the underprivileged. Besides these experiences, I served as a student council executive officer hosting school-wide activities and service projects for four years. I was also on many action committees where I provided my input to help solve problems in my previous local community back in Portland, OR.Since then, I interned for Centene Corporation (twice), Oregon Health & Science University, and Mozi. I now study at Washington University in St. Louis. I am pursuing their Joint Program in Computer Science and Business with a minor in South Asian Languages & Cultures. I hope to bring my ability to communicate well with people of all ages, to any team.I\'m extremely grateful for any opportunities in the community where I can expand my skills and perhaps help you or your business.
