ABOUT JALAL FOUANI
Driven by proactivity and pragmatism, I thrive on solving real-world challenges, whether in project planning or in fast-paced, day-to-day operations. My core motivation is to bring smarter, more sustainable practices to agriculture through applied science, data, and cross-functional collaboration. I currently serve as the Fruit Performance Lead at Zespri International, the world’s largest kiwifruit marketer. In this role, I lead programs spanning from harvest clearances to post-harvest inventory management, with a focus on analytics, automation, and decision-support systems. My academic and research background is rooted in biological pest control and agroecology, with a particular focus on invasive species, especially the six-legged kind.
