Set-up in-house internal audit department, created team structure and reporting formats, on-boarding of third party auditors • Managing a team of 10 individuals, including a core in-house team of four and six external auditors from 3 different CA firms (co-sourced model).• Performing annual risk assessment, preparation of risk based annual audit annual plan, resource allocation, finalization the audit reports and tracking the management action plans for implementation.• Manage add-hoc assignment like fraud investigation, process improvement, automation, support business to create new policies and guidelines from control prospective etc • Report to the Executive Committee (EXCOM) and Board on audit assignments regarding existing and emerging business risks, current status of Orgnisation Governance, Risk and Controls, any risk beyond tolerance limits, new initiatives like process automation, disaster recovery planning, and new capital expenditure items.• Supervise audit assignments to ensure their completion as per the audit plan, including assignment reviews, guiding the team on focus areas, discussing audit findings with senior stakeholders, and ensuring the implementation of agreed action plans within the timeline.• Manage relationships with Internal and External stakeholders, including statutory auditors.• Develop in-house team resource by providing required trainings and guidance, perform midyear and annual assessment• Create control awareness by conducting trainings and awareness sessions with business process owners.
