ABOUT JACK 姜静羽 JIANG

We work better together.The experience of working in a range of sectors taught me that we work better together. Whether it’s high-end architecture, post-earthquake residential recovery programmes, master planning new land developments, designing roads and streets, developing business cases or working on the largest transport infrastructure projects in New Zealand, I saw some of the complex challenges being resolved.My technical work across the different sectors led me to appreciate how different disciplines approach problem solving. However, I also experienced the power of executing a conscious plan to leverage the technical skills that delivers on the intent, outcomes, and most importantly the ability to communicate your ideas.Our transport system has a fundamental influence on the spaces around us. The architect in me focuses on creating great spaces for people regardless the sectors I work in. I think it is important to remind ourselves why we are working on the transport infrastructure and creating the change.My technical skills in architecture, urban design, transport planning, business cases and funding once again led me to a different sector, rail. What do I know about rail? Well, I know how to take the train, I joke to my friends and colleagues. However, I am looking forward to applying my knowledge differently in to be brand new challenge.Give me call, you never know what we can do together.
