ABOUT JACK THOMPSON
Every person brings value to an organization. This value is different throughout every single person in the organization, to where my value stems from my positive energy, my motivation to be the best, my selflessness/ability to be a team player, and my visible passion for the work I do. I am incredibly passionate about the game of football. I strive to create as many opportunities for myself as possible in the sports industry, whether that’s Equipment, Recruiting, Scouting, Coaching, or Operations. I live my life off of this quote by Vince Lombardi;\"Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.\" Every day, I am in the pursuit of striving for perfection. Because how you do anything is how you will do everything.Currently, I work as a student manager for Florida State Football, where I assist the FSU coaching staff in the set up of practice and practice equipment, as well as gameday set up and gameday equipment. In 2019, I simultaneously worked for the Episcopal School of Jacksonville Varsity Basketball Team as an Equipment Manager and worked for the Junior Basketball Association as a Gym Monitor for Lakewood United Methodist Church. In 2016, I created the Episcopal Job Shadow Program with the Adecco Group, in which my fellow peers could come and observe the operations of the business world in hopes to help find their potential careers in the future.
