ABOUT ING. JÖRG KAISER

For over 20 years, I\'ve been involved with innovations in Lean & Agile process management - and the transfer of the methodology to various industries such as construction, automotive, shipbuilding, electronics and mining. What particularly fascinates me is the way construction projects shape our world - depending on our beliefs and also control capabilities. It\'s a reason that keeps me in the construction industry to this day. On the one hand, as a civil engineer and consultant, I have seen construction companies adopt lean techniques out of necessity; in these cases, process optimization was a bitter pill that disruptively forced companies to change. On the other hand, during my time as a consultant at Porsche and BCG, when companies in a wide variety of industries implemented lean and agile process optimization, I always made a transfer of know-how to the construction site. These experiences and considerations taught me: there is a more efficient alternative for the construction industry. And from this realization, my company BOOM was born. The core objectives for construction companies of all sizes, increasing quality, reducing costs and meeting deadlines, became the basis of my development philosophy. A focus from which, in addition to BOOM, my position at Wayss & Freytag Civil Engineering AG clearly benefits. In my area specifically - corporate development - we optimize - all process-based handling in 2.0 management systems- Digital Construction including BIM, as well as - Company and project related Lean Construction Management. Everything mentioned is practically concentrated in BOOM - a portal solution that meets the actual requirements on-site collaboratively and location-independently. The entire construction management, all project teams and processes in one place - the BOOM Board.
