ABOUT IVAN MARCISIN

Ivans’ knowledge of working with a team and striving for excellence is rooted in his passion for sports. From 2008 to 2015, he was a member of the Canadian National Water Polo Team, and he represented Canada all over the world. After retiring from international competition, Ivan shifted his passion from sports to the world of finance. Many of the skills he learned through his involvement in sports are now applied to developing client relationships. As a Wealth Advisor with Scotia Wealth Management, Ivan is dedicated to helping you build wealth and a better future for you and those you care about. Focusing on the creation of financial game plans, including both wealth and investment plans, Ivan is there to help you focus on the things that truly matter. Ivan draws on his deep knowledge and years of experience, including previous positions as a Financial Advisor and Financial Planner, to develop comprehensive wealth management solutions for his clients. Additionally, Ivan has acquired his designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Planning designation. His breadth of experience and credentials help ensure sound advice, execution and peace of mind for clients who need solutions for broad and complex wealth management needs. Outside of the office, Ivan enjoys water polo, tennis, golf, trying new restaurants in Calgary and travelling with his highly talented wife. Ivan is still active in the water polo community, currently serving as the Treasurer of the Alberta High-Performance Society.
