ABOUT IAIN FRAME

I am a hands-on cyber security leader, with applied experience in developing end-to-end enterprise security architecture, and articulating business risk at executive level (C-suite). Within the strategy and architecture space, I work with clients to genuinely understand and mitigate their business risk exposure, developing appropriate strategies and operating models. I am particularly skilled at problem solving / firefighting in complex and challenging environments.I have delivered value to a number of new client organisations in energy, manufacturing and science sectors, primarily in security strategy development and strategic investment proposals. I have also contributed significant activity to pre-sales, bid submission, and developing collateral to accelerate new service offerings. I have also recently been involved (representing a supply chain partner) in the review of the new UK Cyber Security Strategy.I continue to hold and maintain key security qualifications including CISSP, CISM, SABSA Chartered Security Architect, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor. As a security solution architect, my primary technical exposure in the past 3-5 years has been in the Microsoft stack (Azure, M365) and around cloud technologies, with increasing exposure to SASE and zero trust. I also have recent hands-on experience with NCSC and NIST Cyber frameworks, using them as bases for cyber resilience and maturity evaluations.
