Previously spent 3+ years at Airtel Africa, where I helped build and scale the payment and recharge platforms used by 45M+ customers across 14 countries. My work sits at the intersection of reliability and scale. At Airtel, I rebuilt critical CMS services with multithreading and connection pooling (~40% throughput improvement), kept P95 latency under 150ms across tens of millions of daily requests, and was on-call for systems where an outage meant someone in Lagos or Nairobi couldn\'t top up their phone. At GoDaddy, I\'ve built a shadow logging framework that lets us validate live order changes safely, and a certificate-based auth system for billing auto-renewals handling 500+ concurrent orders. Core stack: Java 17, Spring Boot 3.x, microservices, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Step Functions), Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis.
