ABOUT HOWARD MOORE
An agritech/foodtech/biotechnology entrepreneur and investor who has spent much of his career in the New Zealand dairy industry where he was assoicated with innovation, technology and strategy development. After becoming involved in biotechnology, he then went on to co-found Tercica (NASDAQ:TRCA), which out-licensed IGF-1 from Genentech and had it approved as a drug. After returning to New Zealand he joined the venture capital industry. Specialties: Founding, fund raising and leading start up technology companies with a focus on life sciences sector. Driving innovation in the dairy, food and agri sectors. Particular area of interest in recent years has been in seeking to improve the profitability of farming cattle (dairy and beef) and sheep through lowering feed costs by the use of pasture as a major diet component.
