ABOUT HOLGER THATER
Coming from an Engineering background, I started working as a Technical Author back in 1990 with MacPlus/RagTime, later PC/interleaf). My main expertise is authoring Technical Manuals of all kind mainly for the machinery and electronics area. I\'ve been working for quite a lot of companies in these two industrial areas, especially during my \"service provider\" time. During my AEROTEC time, I gained a good amount of experience in the Aerospace industry, as well (which is, clearly, totally different!). Altogether, I\'ve picked up quite a lot of crumbs in the Technical Communication area. In the last years my focus has changed to team leadership and project management, although it has always been important for me to keep an ear on the ground and keep alive at least some authoring experience for myself. I\'m interested in building solid Technical Communication teams and I\'m a strong believer in mentorship here. Working on the development of digital Technical Communication channels another important subject for me.
