About Hojae Kirkpatrick

Hello, my name is Nathan Kirkpatrick, though I prefer to go by my middle name, Hojae. I am a septet major (yes, really) at the University of Oklahoma, studying Pre-Med Mechanical Engineering, Biology, Pre-Law Philosophy, Mathematics, Economics, History, and Multi-Disciplinary Studies (combines the Classics, Sociology, and Aerospace Studies). This journey has been humbling, and I am now pending recognition from Guinness World Records for the most credits taken in a semester (42-43). I had previously dedicated four years to Air Force ROTC Detachment 675 before feeling that I could contribute more meaningfully through a career in medicine. This has motivated me to pursue EMT/Paramedic school at OSU-OKC, which is ranked among the best universities for paramedicine and emergency care. Additionally, I developed a deep appreciation for research in all its forms, and some of my most rewarding experiences have involved working with 3D printed bio-composites and ancient poetry. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, reading, chess (only puzzles), and running marathons in HeyDudes—only partially a joke.
