ABOUT HERVIN FERNÁNDEZ-ACEVES
I’m Hervin Fernández Aceves, a dedicated Historian, Medievalist, and Researcher passionate about bridging the gap between pre-modern studies and digital humanities. With a PhD in History from the University of Leeds and dual MAs from Central European University, my academic journey has been fueled by a deep curiosity about social and political structures. My research has been supported by prestigious CONACYT postdoctoral fellowships at the British School at Rome and Lancaster University.I’m proud to be an elected Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and a published author with Bloomsbury and Brill. My work, including \"County and Nobility in Norman Italy,\" explores the complex intersections of history and society.Currently, I serve as a Research Professor at El Colegio de Jalisco and an adjunct lecturer at Universidad Panamericana. Beyond the classroom, I’m honored to lead as the responsible editor for \"Esfera Pública\" and \"Letras Históricas,\" and I’m a frequent contributor to national radio and podcasts, bringing public history to a wider audience. Always looking to connect with fellow academics, researchers, and history enthusiasts! 🤝
