ABOUT HENRY OGOLI

I have been working in a FDA regulated industry for the last 25 years. I have in particular 15 years of experience in the Plasma Fractionation industry and 6 years in the Inhalation industry. I started my career at Merck and Co, Inc. working as a project engineer supporting the company\'s capital improvements. During this time I was responsible for general capital budgeting and overseeing projects (schedule and budget) valued at more than $1mm. I oversaw the construction of both new projects (green field types) to renovation projects. I later left the company to work as a consulting engineer within the construction and management industry working exclusively in the biotechnology industry.I later transitioned to plant engineering supporting manufacturing operations; starting as manufacturing engineer and rising to an engineering manager responsible for 15-20 professionals. Once again I was responsible for managing a budget of $10mm and accountable for shaping the careers of subordinates. When I moved to North Carolina from Illinois, I joined the Bayer Corporation as an engineering manager supporting the packaging and aseptic filling operations. My duties included hands-on day to day management of a staff of 5-8 professionals; I was heavily involved in equipment start ups, validation support and the day to day process deviation resolution and correction actions implementation. While at Bayer I also moved to Operations working as a Manager of Production for the Filling Operations and responsible for a department of 90 employees that included the hourly work force. During my career I have also worked in Business Development, Program Management and finally in Technical Operations support the clinical manufacturing operations. My experience places uniquely to perform cross functionally from engineering to manufacturing and to program management. My interpersonal skills are exceptional and I do work well within team settings.
