ABOUT HENITA CHHEDA

I am a Biotechnology (Enterprise) graduate with a background in Chemical Engineering. My passion for engineering and biotechnology arose from the want to explore the world of science, specifically biology and chemistry and make the discoveries reach its maximum potential. The business world is very intriguing to me and I love learning the economics, strategy, and business opportunities associated with the development and launch of a drugs and therapies, which made me choose Enterprise in particular as my concentration for my Master\'s. I have been inspired by the values passed on to me by my parents and because of which I love volunteering for nonprofit organizations and helping those who require it through the best skill at my disposition which is teaching. Teaching underprivileged children of various age groups back in my home country India has, in turn, taught me how to be resilient, patient, grateful, passionate, and empathetic. This also budded my inclination for the life science industry whose end goal was the best possible patient care. My coursework includes Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Business, Engineering Economics, Biotechnology Enterprise, Enterprise Growth and Innovation, Mergers Alliances and Acquisitions, Global Competition and Market Dominance, Molecular Biotechnology, Launching you Science, and Managing a Leading Biotech and Project Management. These along with practical experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry has provided me with a skillset to explore and contribute toward the synergy of science, business and strategy. With a background in business development in the cell therapy field, I have a strong foundation in market research, competitive analysis, and technology assessments. I have provided valuable insights for executive-level decision-making and strategic initiatives by analyzing value propositions, pipeline trends, and deal activities. My experience includes conducting detailed forecasts and performing product valuations to identify lucrative business development opportunities. Additionally, I have assessed current treatment paradigms and disease epidemiology, contributing to indication analysis for drug candidates.
