As the lead of the Advanced Detections team, we’ve delivered key platform capabilities, including:•Network-based public exposure detection: Built rules that detect publicly exposed AWS resources (EC2, RDS, Auto Scaling Groups, ECS, EKS) with 100% accuracy.•IAM-based public exposure detection: Delivered checks for identifying S3 buckets, SNS topics, and SQS queues with 90%+ accuracy.• Attack path analysis: Developed detections that identify paths from publicly exposed workloads (EC2, Lambda, ECS) to vulnerable resources, highlighting exploitable access to critical data.•Graph-based cloud inventory: Created a dynamic graph of AWS resources and their relationships, enabling analysis of risk propagation across accounts and organisations.Technologies: Amazon Neptune, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SNS, React, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon RDS, Amazon EventBridge, etc.
