I\'ve never known passion for a cause like I have for Teenage Cancer Trust. Cancer sucks at any age but for these young people, more so. Our impact for teenagers and young people diagnosed with cancer is awesome, pride seeps out of my pores when I see the difference we make to young people and their families. I\'m as passionate about my role today as I was when I was the new girl walking through the doors of head office on day one.My pedigree comes from a hugely successful, high level corporate background working with the Times Top 25 companies, time for a change and step up.I have experience in sales and marketing both niche and generic markets, taking ideas from fruition to market (raising over £1.4m with Macmillan Cancer Relief on just one initiative which I pitched to the FA) melding causes to corporates where empathy flows and employees are fully engaged and motivated. Relationship building through CoY, networking, corporate and challenge events both bespoke and joined up plus team building within companies and large groups. Capital build and project work a speciality through partnership working from grass root communities, volunteers to CEO level for regional and wider engagement. Initially joined Teenage Cancer Trust to secure funding for a capital build for Great North Children\'s Hospital in Newcastle (£1.4m) then went on to 7 more new builds and refurbishments. We fund specialist nursing and social staff, outreach work, education programmes and courses to help young people get back on track after treatment.My role is all about people, building relationships and supporting young people with cancerPlease link up if you would like know more, thank you
