Successful business owner, entrepreneur, aspiring ministry leaders who enjoys helping others succeed.In 2016 Matthew took an active role in the formation of the Alera Group. 24 partners across the country came together with the idea to build a great company for the benefit of it\'s customers with a culture of collaboration and to have fun doing it. Alera Group, launching in January of 2017, is now the fourteenth-largest independent employee benefits, property/casualty, risk management and wealth management firm in the U.S. Following the launch of the company Matt was elected to serve on Alera’s Partners Advisory Board by the other founding partners. In 2021 we was elected to the Board of Directors.Since 2023 he has played the role of Catalyst for the National Rite of Passage Council imagining a day when it is normal for pastors across ethnic and denominational lines to invite the parents of thier 12, 13 and 14 year olds in to a journey towards Spiritual, Physical and emotional adulthood in partnership with the Church. A true Christian Rite of Passage (think Eagle Scout marries a Bhat Mitzvah)
