ABOUT HANNAH LYBRAND
I am a dedicated psychology major with a neuroscience minor, passionate about understanding the complexities of human behavior, cognition, and mental health. My academic interests focus on the intersection of neuroscience and psychology, particularly in improving early detection and prevention of mental illnesses. Beyond academics, I have actively engaged in leadership roles that have shaped my ability to foster collaboration, advocacy, and strategic thinking. As a member of the Transfer Student Leadership Council, I worked to create an inclusive environment for transfer students, ensuring a smooth transition and a strong sense of community. My involvement with Delta Gamma and Panhellenic further strengthened my leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills. Additionally, my participation in the StandWithUs internship deepened my commitment to advocacy and cross-cultural dialogue.I am particularly interested in how neuroscience can inform mental health policies, improve diagnostic tools, and enhance treatment strategies. I welcome opportunities to collaborate, research, and apply my skills in real-world settings that bridge the gap between neuroscience, psychology, and mental health care innovation.Let’s connect!
