Hana-Rae\'s time both inside and outside of the ropes gives her a unique perspective and understanding of the sporting industry. Her time as an athlete, solicitor, and working at some of the world\'s largest sporting events has positioned her well for her current role as Director of Business Development at The R&A. Hana-Rae\'s previous role was the General Manager of Partnerships and Legal Counsel at Golf New Zealand. Hana-Rae has worked with over 50 National Sporting Organisations and events rights holders in the broadcast and commercial space. As a solicitor, she covered sales and marketing, Intellectual Property and Consumer Law, frequently presenting on these topics. Hana-Rae has also transferred these skills into the governance space within the sporting sector. While working, Hana-Rae is also currently completing her MBA.
