Responsible for AgResearch\'s IT, Property, and Company Secretary functions, Greg provides strategic leadership across all aspects of information systems, cyber security, data and information management, and eResearch. He also has leadership responsibility for AgResearch\'s seven farms and four campuses throughout New Zealand.Key responsibilities include- Driving AI and technology innovation, cloud solutions, and transformation plans to enhance the NZ AgriTech and food sectors- Acting as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Security Officer (CSO), ensuring compliance with NZ Government Protective Security Requirements- Serving as Executive Sponsor for Public Records Act compliance and engaging with the Chief Archivist, Archives NZ- Overseeing the management and optimisation of $108M in land, farms, and campus assets, maintaining world-class research facilities- Leading strategic infrastructure projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery- Supporting the Board of Directors as Company Secretary, focusing on Governance, Risk, and Compliance obligations.This role supports collaboration with Agriculture and Research sector partners, government agencies, and internal teams to achieve impactful outcomes.
